Dear Friends, Supporters and Collaborators of Snehagram,
Snehagram Children and family greet you with the tidings of JOY brought forth to this world by our Lord and Savior. May He fill your lives and all those who are dear to you with the warmth of love, peace and happiness.
It is our first Christmas here in Snehagram. We have been eagerly waiting and preparing for this beautiful festival of God’s love. Now we are ready to celebrate with joy the coming of Christ into our lives : to help us live our lives to the full.
Christmas happens every day in our lives when God comes to visit us through you all. In fact the story of Sneha Children is the story of how God came into their lives through so many loving people and filled their lives with joy and new life. Therefore it is also occasion for us to remember with gratitude each one of you who helped us experience God. May God continue to bless you all for your generosity and support.
Snehagram, the second phase of Sneha Care Home is now partially ready to welcome more children to rebuild their lives for a better future. We moved into the new campus on June 22 with 26 children and inaugurated the program on July 20th. We have completed the two hostels (Boys and Girls) that can accommodate 200 students. We have also built the Dining and Kitchen and a Multi- purpose hall. The second phase of constructions, (training centre and chapel )will begin next year. We have started developing the land by planting fruit trees and vegetables. We have also built some basic facilities for sports. We are grateful for the generosity of people and organizations who are reaching out to realize our dreams for our children.
We will reach you soon with a News Letter sharing our story. As we prepare for the New Year, we wish you once again blessings to accompany you throughout 2014 and we hope you continue to journey with us in the coming years.
