On November 2, 2023, Snehagram had the honor of hosting the esteemed Social Venture Partnership (SVP) team. The purpose of the visit was to showcase the impactful livelihood program at Snehagram. The day began with a lively field tour, allowing the SVP team to witness first-hand the various initiatives and activities undertaken by the dedicated students of Snehagram. The fellows warmly welcomed the SVP team, providing a brief overview of the diverse projects at Snehagram. This interactive experience left a lasting impression on the visitors, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day. Following the field tour, all participants gathered in the conference hall, where Suhas extended a warm welcome to the SVP team. The meeting included a comprehensive presentation and video showcase by Babu, effectively illustrating the impactful work carried out by both Magic Bus and Snehagram. Fr. Sunil and Dr. Michael provided in-depth insights into Snehagram’s mission and the I’m Possible Fellowship, respectively. After that the fellows, the Magic bus students, and the SVP members were divided into two groups to have a discussion on improvement and clarify doubts, this discussion really helped the fellows to know more about SVP and what are areas need to be focused on and improved. The meeting adjourned at 1:00 pm, leaving all participants inspired and motivated to continue their mission at Snehagram. The visit by the SVP team was a valuable exchange of ideas, strengthening the commitment of the Snehagram community to their mission of positive social impact.
