On September 6th, Snehagram welcomed 70 students from The International School Bangalore (TISB) for a structured day of learning, service engagement, and cultural interaction. The visit commenced with an early morning walk to a nearby hilltop, where students experienced the sunrise and the tranquillity of the natural surroundings before returning to campus for the scheduled activities.
Following breakfast, the students were organised into groups and assigned to various service tasks, including planting coconut saplings, cleaning the cow shed, collecting firewood, and supporting painting work. Their active participation, teamwork, and willingness to contribute created a productive and meaningful morning. During the mid-morning tea break, the Snehagram team facilitated an informative session on HIV and addressed student queries.
After lunch, the TISB students presented a short cultural program featuring songs and dance performances, which was warmly received. The visit continued with a friendly football match that fostered camaraderie between the students and the Snehagram community. The visit served as a valuable platform for experiential learning, mutual exchange, and relationship-building, leaving a positive and lasting impression on both the TISB students and the Snehagram community.
