On December 28th, a team of 76 runners (35 girls and 41 boys) set out on an exhilarating journey to Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, to participate in the Ranipet Marathon, organized by the Jolly Boys Club.
The event featured 21K, 10K, and 5K races, with two athletes taking on the half marathon, while others competed in the 10K and 5K categories. The scenic yet demanding course tested their endurance, but their rigorous training and determination ensured a stellar performance. The electric atmosphere and enthusiastic crowd lifted their spirits as they pushed past their limits.
The runners shone brightly, with Meghana claiming 1st place, Gangamma securing 2nd, and Nandini earning 3rd place in the women’s 10K. Every participant received a finisher’s medal, a testament to their dedication and perseverance. The celebration continued over a well-earned breakfast as they reflected on their achievements. The Ranipet Run was more than just a race—it was a demonstration of resilience, teamwork, and the power of running.
