The Ananda Yana Run, held on June 1, 2025, was organized with the core aim of fostering community cooperation, inclusivity, and the spirit of giving. Beyond being a run, the initiative aimed to raise funds to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and to create an event that remained affordable and accessible to all, rooted in cooperation rather than competition.
The run emphasized the joy of participation and well-being over speed. From the start, participants adopted their own pace—running, jogging, and walking—while volunteers offered continuous support along the route with encouragement, water, and cheers. Heartening scenes of friends running together, children enjoying short fun runs, and older participants walking with resolve were seen throughout, reflecting the inclusive and uplifting spirit of the event. It reminded all participants that life becomes more meaningful when people support one another in moving forward together.
